The community is super clean, quiet, and really well maintained. The amenities especially the gym, pool, and common areas are a huge bonus. The unit we toured was incredibly spacious and nicely updated. I’ll definitely be telling my friends and family to come check this place out. Jessica and Manny were amazing!! so helpful, friendly, and answered all my questions (and then some). They are a Great team! looking forward to moving in!!

Great Start, with a Few Minor Considerations "I recently moved into Joshua Tree about a month ago and so far, I'm generally very pleased. I've given a 5-star rating for now, and I'll update this review if anything changes. Positives: Renovated and Clean: My unit was renovated approximately five years ago, and it still looks very fresh and clean. As a single occupant, the space is perfect for my needs. Quiet and Well-Maintained: The complex is generally quiet and clean. I appreciate seeing people walking their dogs, and I haven't noticed any pet waste in the common areas near my building. Excellent Management: The management team has been fantastic. They provided a thorough introduction to the unit before I moved in, and they were incredibly helpful in accepting my packages before my arrival. They are also very responsive to questions. Convenient Location: The location is ideal for me, as it's very close to my workplace. Even with Salt Lake City's unpredictable weather, I have multiple commuting options, including bus, car, and walking. Daily necessities are also within easy walking distance. Appearance: The unit looks pretty new and clean and space is enough for me. Considerations: Rent: Like everywhere else, rent is a bit high, but this seems to be the current market trend. Weed Smell and Noise: I have noticed a persistent weed smell occasionally, as some residents smoke near the building. This means keeping windows and balcony doors closed at certain times. I can also hear some footsteps and squeaking from the unit above me, which is a common issue in apartment living. Weather: As a new resident of Salt Lake City, I'm still adjusting to the rapidly changing weather and unexpected snow. Regarding Previous Reviews: I have read some reviews mentioning unannounced entry into units. I have not experienced this yet, but I will update my review if this occurs. Overall: Overall, I'm having a positive experience at Joshua Tree Apartment. The clean, quiet environment, and excellent management (Manny and Jessica) make it a great place to live. While there are a few minor issues, they haven't significantly impacted my enjoyment of the apartment. I will update this review as I continue to settle in.

As a tenant of almost 8 years, I can say that the majority of the negative reviews are due to the prior ownership and the "deluxe" apartments. They changed ownership just before I moved in and were remodeling all the units. I lived in an unrenovated unit when I moved in, and the reviews from then are very valid. (The day I moved in I killed over 100 mosquitoes in my apartment. After a few months they resolved the indoor water feature that attracted the mosquitos.) The remodeling was complete about 5 ish years ago, and I've only witnessed management getting better. Another thing to consider is the "deluxe" apartments aren't differentiated in the reviews. Since they have gas fireplaces and appliances, their gas is billed communally (iirc). The kitchens in the deluxe units are tiny (just barely longer than the stove and fridge). They also have indoor foyers that the non-deluxe units don't have. Overall I wasn't impressed with the deluxe apartments. I've seen the bad and the good, and they have improved a lot from when I first moved in. My biggest complaint is the price of rent, but that's not something that's exclusive to them. I feel all the rentals in the area are over priced. The on-site staff are very friendly and helpful, and any complaints I could have stem from my lack of communication with the management team. They have always been willing to help when they can, and their maintenance is top notch! When I submit a request I know it will be addressed by the next business day. The longest it's taken for them to fix something was because they were waiting on backordered parts for our AC unit. They even loaned us a portable AC unit while we waited! Before discrediting the company based on reviews. Pay attention to when it was written. Anything over 4 or 5 years old is due to the prior owners and the unrenovated apartments.

This is my second lease from Joshua Tree Apartments and I will be considering a third once this contract is up. The office staff, Jess and Manny, are very attentive to any requests, and the property grounds are kept clean and tidy. The overall community that lives here is young and welcoming. The pool in the summertime is an amazing addition that is well maintained and the centralized location makes for a quick trip to anywhere I may need to go. I would recommend this community to anyone who is currently looking.

Joshua tree has been my home for 3 years now! The amenities and location are perfect. The property managers are responsive and have great communication. I've lived here for 7 years, so listen up. Snag an apartment while you still can. My apartment and lifestyle here has been the best it's ever been, and it's really become my home. Jessica & Jenn Manage the property very well. They've helped me with any requests I've had without question, and the Maintenance Team does an extraordinary job without me even lifting a finger. The property is kept super clean, and we're routinely getting upgrades for overall well-being like improving parking stalls and pool furniture. The pool & people are awesome, and it's very quiet at night. It's very hard to think If I'll ever move out!~

My boyfriend and I moved into Joshua Tree apartments a few months ago, and I can truly say its been wonderful. The management is responsive and easy to deal with and the maintenance team is really on top of things. One of our door handles locked itself and we weren't able to get into our closet. The maintenance man, Chad, was quick and efficient in fixing the issue. The gym and facilities are great. The only thing I have to complain about is they are contracted with Xfinity for wifi and cable service, meaning you can't choose to have your own wifi. Xfinity has been an absolute nightmare to deal with, and I'm still trying to work with Xfinity to get the billing figured out, but when I reached out to the leasing office about my issue, they were quick to respond and even reached out to their contract manager with Xfinity to see if they could help. They weren't able to assist but the fact that they were willing to help even though it wasn't their problem to deal with was really nice. I would definitely suggest this apartment complex to anyone who was looking to move to Millcreek. The location is also fantastic, close access to Harmons Grocery Store, the freeway and lots of activities and dining spots.

I only have great things to say about these apartments. Aside from the great location, these apartments are spacious, updated and have charm that you can’t find in the new builds. The office staff is super friendly and they address issues in a timely manner. I’ve never had an issue go unaddressed, which is nice and shows that they care. Jessica was such a great help giving me a tour at the end of her work day, laying out all the options and how much each one would cost. I’ve never had an easier move in. I've rented here twice because I used to love living here. I rented here in 1999 and 2010. Back then it was called Legacy. I really enjoyed my time there, never had issues. The pool was not always operating in 1999. Then in 2010 there was no pool, it had been covered with ground which was located all the in the back complex. It was a great, quiet spot to live in.

I lived at Joshua tree for a year and a half. The staff was always super friendly and helpful. The maintenance guys even helped me change my tire in the parking lot one day when I was in a crunch! My service requests were always taken care of within 24 hours or less. Highly recommend. 🙌🏼

I am happy that the ladies in the office was very understanding of my situations that I was dealing with in my old place. Jennifer and Angel are awesome and I love to go pay my rent and see such beautiful smiles when walking through the office door. The maintenance is always on top of things and also comes in to my apartment with a great smile. The utilities due very from month to month but if your smart, you budget an amount over what is due for the month then you will have a credited balance for next month. It works with my budget and i really dont mind paying extra due to the quality and awesomeness of living here. People that have given bad reviews must have been in the wrong some how because the office is professional and if they have a problem with you, then it is resolved with care and very professionally. If you want give a bad review then go live at Le Banke Apartments, then you can complain all you want due to its stressful to live there and the landlord is a piece of ..... I actually had to get an attorney and file a law suet because of problems such as harassments, things broken like my tub, it didn’t get fixed for almost 3 months. At Joshua tree apartments, they are on it with in a day or two. Im so much happier and plan to live here for a long time. Plus im too old to move again lol.. Thanks

We have been here for nearly a year. We are fanatic home-cooks and like that within 10 minutes we can get to a Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Middle-Eastern, or Hispanic grocery store. We have a gas stove here, which can be harder to find around here (compared to our hometown). Maintenance team here is amazing and responsive. Issues happen, but when they do they are solved quickly. It is an older building, so some of the utilities are split between the units, with larger units/more people paying more of the share. This is paid alongside rent, which is why some reviews are saying "the rent changes every month." The rent is constant- the cost of utilities change from month-to-month. My only complaint is the media package fee that you can not opt out of, but this does not outweigh all of the things that I do like about living here. Overall, I would recommend Joshua Tree to a friend or family member, and we plan to stay here as long as we are able to.

I've said it before & I'll say it again - this is the most extraordinary apartment I've lived in throughout the entire SLC valley. Everytime it snows there is a direct path shoveled from my front door to my covered parking. Every repair I need is fixed immediately. The effort and kindness of the staff are noticed with all their interactions. Every unit is beautifully renovated and the "vibe" has WAY more of a friendly community feel than a massive elevator type complex with hundreds of units. I've roasted marshmallows w/ my neighbors, made new friends, laughed & drank in the pool with neighbors. People leave low reviews because they don't understand how utilities fluctuate, no matter the apartment complex you live in. Move here, you won't regret it.

I've been living at Joshua Tree for a couple months now. It's a lovely place to live. It's quiet and well maintained. They work hard to keep their tenants happy. Any minor issues I've had come up in the time of living here have always been resolved in a very timely manor. Very pet friendly and all the tenants/employees are very nice- the maintenance crew even carries around treats which my dogs love! The rent does fluctuate month to month, because utilities are added to the rent which obviously change every month. Rent will be higher than advertised on the site, especially if you have pets, but I feel as if all fees are well laid out and you know what you are having to pay for prior to signing a rental agreement (such as pet rent, CAM fees, water, sewer, gas, etc.).

you found it! stop looking for apartments and move here. I have never been so happy with a place that I live. the summers are full of laughter and swimming, and fires and bbqs after. the feel of community here is stellar - from the neighborhood friends to the super kind admins. our pool in the summer fills up with residents and by the end, you have new friends and new memories. our repair man walks around and helps and greets anyone in need. my apartment is cozy and well taken care of with tons of daylight. great location. you get what you pay for. remember, home is where you make it - and i suggest you make it here.

The office staff is phenomenal at getting you the help you need. They are friendly and respond rapidly to requests. The fitness center onsite is so nice with brand new equipment and is secure and open 24/7. I love that my packages are delivered to a secure Amazon Hub. They offer nighttime security so that you can call with noise complaints or security issues which is very appreciated by this working professional. The emergency maintenance after hours respond quickly and their regular maintenance respond quickly as well. You cannot beat the location either! Just a quick trip to hop on multiple freeways and a Harmon’s grocery store within walking distance!

The office staff is phenomenal at getting you the help you need. They are friendly and respond rapidly to requests. The fitness center onsite is so nice with brand new equipment and is secure and open 24/7. I love that my packages are delivered to a secure Amazon Hub. They offer nighttime security so that you can call with noise complaints or security issues which is very appreciated by this working professional. The emergency maintenance after hours respond quickly and their regular maintenance respond quickly as well. You cannot beat the location either! Just a quick trip to hop on multiple freeways and a Harmon’s grocery store within walking distance!

I moved in recently and have nothing but good things to say so far! I know its really early, but they deserve way more credit than some of these reviews are giving. The office staff I've worked with, which is probably all of them, are very very friendly and helpful. They were very responsive whenever I had a question during my leasing process. The apartment itself is nice and renovated. I think the layout is very nice and has character. The neighbors so far have been very friendly and always say hello. I previously lived downtown and didn't exchange words with any of my neighbors for a whole year--so this apartment vibe is very refreshing! I haven't noticed any sketchy neighbors, any mean/vulgar construction workers, or dog poop that isn't picked up (negative feedback from other reviews). In fact, I had to bring both of my dogs in for DNA swabs because if you don't pick up your dog poop you get fined. So, the fact that they are spending the money to combat the problem says a lot. Again, just moved in last week but love it so far.

I moved in almost two months ago and have had a few problems but they haven't been too bad and have since been resolved. Management has always been understanding and nothing but nice and helpful. I do wish the indoor areas before you enter your unit were cleaned up a little. There are leaves and dirt everywhere. I understand it can be hard during the winter months but a quick sweep through would really make an improvement. I also do not understand getting charged a fee every time you pay rent online. An extra $2.95 for using your bank account seems so unnecessary but again it's not a huge deal. Overall have had a pretty good experience so far.

The office staff is amazing and friendly. The maintenance crew above and beyond. The only bad thing was the dog poop because of the snow but that's not on them (that's on lazy owners). Also, the poop was cleared up as soon as the snow was gone! The whole complex was just renovation, so there were some slight issues but all were corrected very quickly. Just go to the office, and you'll be welcomed by super friendly staff!

I've been living here for a few months now and I LOVE my apartment. There are great amenities, it's easy to get everywhere, and I feel like the price is fair for everything I'm getting! There have been a few issues due to the renovations that are going on, but I have nothing but good things to say about the management. Whenever any renovation-based maintenance issues arose, the management team handled them professionally and as quickly as possible. As soon as the renovations are done, this complex will be a 5 star spot!

New Management, New Apartments! This place has really turned around! The Managers are so kind and caring! If you have any problems, they are fixed within the day! The new renovations are just breathtaking! It is a little pricey, but definitely very safe and quieter than you'd think because it's tucked-away a little from the rest of the world. I absolutely loved staying here and wish I could afford to re-sign with the newer renovated apartments. Highly, highly recommended!! ^_^-
